Visited today with family. A really nice venue. Great food. Very accommodating for people who have different dietary needs or tastes. Great value. Nice comfortable seating. Will definitely return!

We recently celebrated our work Christmas party at this Indian restaurant, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, setting the tone for a memorable evening. They were not only attentive and friendly but also great fun to interact with. They happily accommodated special food requests, took group photos for us, and went out of their way to recommend dishes and explain the meals in detail. It felt like they genuinely cared about making our evening special. The food itself was outstanding. Each dish was served piping hot, with impeccable timing between courses. The flavors were rich, authentic, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Whether you’re an adventurous eater or prefer milder dishes, the menu offers something for everyone. Every dish we tried was a highlight of the evening! The restaurant’s setting is also convenient, with plenty of parking available. Despite not being locals, we found it easy to locate thanks to glowing Google reviews—and we’re so glad we followed them. To top it all off, the prices were very reasonable considering the exceptional quality of both the food and service. It’s rare to find a place that balances affordability with such a premium dining experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Indian cuisine, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service. We’re already looking for an excuse to return next time we’re in the area!

Lovely food. Order takeaway all the time and food is always lovely and they are very prompt. Ate in for the first time and food was very good. Good service.

Went for the Sunday Buffet. The food was amazing and the the atmosphere was lovely. We were greeted on arrival and the service was excellent. Will definitely be returning, keep it up . Only one small fault (picky), the baby changing/disabled toilet was very cold. Otherwise a pleasant experience.

What an amazing place. The food was superb. Having eaten Indian food at many restaurants in our time our party of five agreed unanimously that our meals including starters were the best we've ever had. The ambience, decor and most of all the staff were outstanding. Even though some of our party live an hour away they are already planning a return trip to The Golden Kegg - many times.

Incredible food and amazing service. Proper authentic Indian food. Can't rate them high enough on their service and even more so on the taste of all their food from the starters to the mains to the desserts. Very good prices too, I must add. Brilliant for kids meals. If you've come to Alton towers for a break, I would highly reccomend coming here instead of over paying at one of the hotel restaurants.
